About the Shop

Quality craftsmanship from our workshop to your home

Drycreek Crafts is the workshop of Ron Cox — a retired engineer, lifelong maker, and woodworker for over 30 years.

It started the way the best shops do: a few tools, a garage, and a toy box for the kids — and then more toy boxes for the grandkids. Over three decades that garage grew into a full dedicated wood shop in Elizabeth, Colorado, where Ron has spent 18 years turning hardwood into heirloom pieces.

An engineer's eye for precision shows up in everything he makes. His signature work — cutting boards, joinery, and pieces where accuracy is everything — is built to exacting tolerances: joints that fit, edges that are true, finishes that hold up to a lifetime of use.

The high mountain air and the quiet, treed setting outside Elizabeth provide the inspiration. The workbench provides the rest.

No mass production. No shortcuts. One craftsman, one piece at a time — built to outlast the builder.

Why Drycreek?
